Rosevear Stephenson is a partnership of Craig Rosevear and Martin Stephenson with experience in residential, commercial, tourism and heritage projects in Tasmania, Victoria and New South Wales.
We carry out all aspects of the architectural service and are both involved in all projects; this allows us to maintain a high quality through a first-hand attention to detail and understanding of all aspects of the process from conception through to completion. This model allows us to concentrate on maintaining consistency and quality and where larger projects require, we prefer to collaborate with a pool of trusted contractors or like-minded companies that bring specialist experience as may be required.
Prior to establishing Rosevear Architects in 2004, both partners gained extensive experience in senior positions on a variety of projects both nationally and internationally.
Craig commenced architectural practice as an associate to Mike Viney Architect in Hobart before working overseas for Denton Corker Marshall in London and Nation Fender Architects in Hong Kong on multi-storey residential and commercial estate projects. After returning to Hobart he worked as an associate of Eastman Heffernan Walch & Button Architects on projects such as Drysdale Hospitality College and Elizabeth Street Pier before commencing his own practice in 1997.
Martin commenced practice in Hobart with Eastman Heffeernan Walch & Button Architects before moving to Sydney to complete his studies. Whilst studying he worked at Ancher Mortlock Woolley on projects for the Sydney Olympics and then Walton Associates. After graduation he became Design Architect at the Sydney office of Suters Architects where he gained experience on large residential apartment developments and educational facilities for UNSW and Hunter TAFE.
